Testimonials
Naomi Smith, Senior Permanent Consultant, Holborn
I have been with Spring Personnel for almost 2 years and love it!
Before Spring, I was employed as a Resourcer for a local agency for approximately
6 months. I made the move to Spring to pursue a career as a Temporaries Consultant.
I spent 5 months in this role before being offered the opportunity to work as a
Permanent Consultant, which I really enjoyed. I am now a Senior Permanent Consultant
and on my way to managing the whole permanents desk.
Spring really notices your potential and offers support and training. Importantly,
you're rewarded accordingly. Spring has provided me with a clear career path, which
is fantastic as it not only keeps me focused but also enables me to realise my own
personal growth.
I have never felt so enthusiastic about a job or a company before and can't imagine
working for anyone else. I feel that this is down to the people I work with, great
rewards, money and prizes.
My colleagues are like another family to me. We work hard, which can consist of
long hours, and play hard. We all have the same goal to succeed, make lots of money
and enjoy what we do.
Abby Robbins, Senior Consultant, Uxbridge
I joined Spring following a year of travelling to Australia and Thailand, which
gave me the confidence to follow a career in sales.
Joining Spring was a fantastic move for me, it ticks all the boxes. I get to do
telephone sales, face-to-face sales on client visits and manage a thriving desk.
Each new client I convert gives me a sense of achievement. I believe that when a
client buys from you he or she is recognising your personal ability and commitment.
Spring is excellent at providing training and support in order to get the best from
us. Although Spring is a large organisation it has a family feel which I am sure
has added to my success. Spring constantly recognises those who go above and beyond
expectations and I have attended many lunches with the London region and also company-wide
to celebrate success and achievement. I have also been selected to join the Consultant
Development Programme which recognises the branch managers of the future.
I like that to promote from within, as well as recruiting externally, and feel I
have a long future with the company.
Richard Protherough, Team Leader, Birmingham
While doing a sport science degree at Loughborough University I never thought I
would have a career in IT recruitment. However, after finishing my degree and playing
professional rugby for a season, I wanted a new challenge and a friend introduced
me to Best (a brand of Spring Group). From the moment I started, I loved the competitive
nature of the role and the ability to write your own pay cheque.
I started as a Resourcer and have been promoted several times, I now manage the
new business team in Birmingham. The best part of my job is helping new consultants
to start closing deals. I love the fact that success can literally change their
lives. My schedule is pretty hectic as I combine working for Spring with playing
semi-professional rugby for Coventry. Like sport, recruitment is all about winning!
You have to get to the job opportunities first and then get to the right candidate
before the competition, it is fast paced and a real buzz when you win!!
In my opinion Spring is an ideal choice for anyone considering getting into IT recruitment.
By choosing Spring you will not only have an excellent commission scheme and development
programme, but you will be working with the best and most innovative sales people
in our industry. Personally I feel very privileged to not only work in the recruitment
industry, but to work for the market leader – Spring.
Glenn Jackson, Account Executive, Crewe
Before I came to Spring I worked as a sales consultant for a tailoring company.
I loved the buzz of selling, but it didn't offer the kind of money I was after.
Spring certainly does. I now earn enough to afford the kind of cars and holidays
I want – although I do work hard for it.
My first position here was as a Resourcer – that’s basically about tracking down
good candidates and selling in roles to them. I was soon promoted to Account Executive
after I helped Spring retain a major piece of business. Now I manage a couple of
Resourcers of my own.
I love the hassle-free culture here at Spring. There’s no moaning and no-one marching
around barking orders at you. You’re directly responsible for your targets, so it’s
obvious if you’re doing well anyway.
The team culture’s great too. In my team, we get on so well we could all be best
mates.
